Blast at Agra hospital, at least 3 injured
Agra: At least three people have been injured in a bomb blast at the Jay Hospital in Agra this evening. There are no reports of any casualty yet. (Buzz on Twitter) The explosion shattered the windowpanes of the reception and set off panic among people. Several patients were evacuated from the hospital and police cordoned off the entire area and conducted a combing operation. P K Tiwari, the Inspector General of Police, Agra, has said that preliminary investigations suggest the use of a crude bomb, which was kept under a seat in the reception area. An team from the anti-terror squad has been sent to the hospital, Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order) Brij Lal told PTI. The blast comes just days after a bomb, kept inside a briefcase, exploded at the Delhi High Court, claiming 15 lives.
